In this age of growing concern about the state of the economy, more and more businesses are looking to reduce the amount of money they spend on overhead. At the same time, there is and increasing awareness that the amount of energy we are wasting in our day to day operations is having a negative impact on the environment.

In ISO14001, rather, it sets a framework in which countries should seek a more holistic framework with a strategic approach to policies, plans and of course actions for carrying them out.
